June 10-14 - attended the International Indigenous Music Summit in Toronto. First conference that I didn't attend as an artist! Amazingly, I went representing Creative BC. So cool. Amazing folks, great & diverse music, solid & relevant dialogue / discussions.
A few events this summer that I'm honoured to be a part of & want to let you in on:
June 9 - Applewood Gran Fondo - kick off in Fort Langley at Eagle Acres Farm (11am-1pm)
July 31 - City of Surrey and FUSIONpresents - Sounds of Summer - feat. Hayley Wallis (7:15-8pm) & yours truly (6:30-7pm)
Aug 20 - City of Victoria presents - Summer at Ship Point, Inner Harbour - Lola Parks (6-7pm)
